At Link Tyres we are aware of the impact our actions have on the environment. We took a conscious decision a long time ago to concentrate our energies into prolonging the life of a tyre from first fitment new to regrooving and then remoulding. Along with turning on rim and repositioning this all maximises the tyres life to ensure there is no unnecessary usage of rubber wherever possible.

Used tyres once they have been regrooved if applicable are either returned back to the manufacturer for retreading or disposed of by accredited dealers with the appropriate licensing. Before the final process begins the tyre management process is put into place as detailed above and along with the additional benefits of tyre pressure checking and adjustment, which further optimises the tyre life and better fuel economy.

We also actively encourage recycling in all parts of our business from glass bottles & cardboard to scrap metal believing that we all have a part to play and a small contribution from an individual can soon grow into a significant force when we all work together.

You can never be complacent and we are always on the look out for different areas into which we can improve and review for better enhancement of the environment.
